About
Dr. Jay T. Wiles
Clinical health and performance psychologist. Board certified in heart rate variability biofeedback and peripheral biofeedback. Author of the Resilient Engine model and the Nervous System Resiliency Training protocol inside it.
The short version
I have spent two decades on one question: how do you train the autonomic nervous system, rather than simply observe it. That work runs through clinical psychology, psychophysiology, applied behavioral medicine, and a lot of hours with HRV biofeedback equipment.
I founded Thrive Wellness and Performance in Greenville, South Carolina in 2020, where I see clients directly. I co-founded Hanu Health and served as its Chief Scientific Officer, and I serve as Chief Health and Performance Officer at Ohm Health. Earlier clinical work was at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia and the Greenville Outpatient VA Clinic.
The Resilient Engine is the model that came out of all of it, and the app is the instrument that finally made it possible to run the protocol properly between appointments.
